Professor Clint Harris is the head coach of Saxon Combat Academy and the driving force behind Saxon Strong and Saxon High Performance inside Saxon Sports.
Beginning his martial arts journey at a young age in regional Victoria, Clint was introduced to martial arts through Taekwondo before expanding into Kickboxing, Boxing, Wrestling, MMA, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. His passion for learning eventually brought him to Melbourne, where he trained under Professor Jeremy Ta’kody and alongside the late Professor Richard Norton — relationships that helped shape the foundation of his coaching philosophy and martial arts career.
Clint’s dedication to growth has taken him overseas to train at Team Alpha Male in the United States, working alongside world-class fighters and coaches while continuing to refine his understanding of combat sports, athletic performance, and coaching.
In 2020, Clint was awarded his Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu by Professors Richard Norton and Jeremy Ta’kody — a milestone representing decades of training, discipline, and commitment to the martial arts.
Today, Clint leads a complete training environment at Saxon Sports, combining martial arts, strength & conditioning, and athletic development under one roof. From Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and MMA to Kickboxing, Kids Martial Arts, and Saxon Strong, his focus is simple: help people become stronger, more capable, and more confident in every area of life.
Known for his energetic coaching style, technical knowledge, and no-ego approach, Clint has built a culture where beginners feel welcome, experienced athletes are challenged, and everyone is encouraged to improve at their own pace. Whether your goal is fitness, self-defence, competition, weight loss, or simply becoming a better version of yourself, Clint’s coaching is designed to help you get there.
More than just teaching techniques or workouts, Clint is passionate about building a community where people enjoy training, stay consistent, and develop long-term confidence both on and off the mats.
